Inaintea celei de-a 29-a Conferinta a ONU privind schimbarile climatice (COP29), programul UE Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) a publicat buletinul sau climatic, prin care raporteaza schimbarile observate la nivelul temperaturii aerului atmosferic si a suprafetei marilor.

Pretul carbonului s-a redresat pe fondul cresterii cotatiilor la gaz
Piata europeana de carbon s-a redresat joi, dupa minimul ultimelor doua saptamani atins in sedinta anterioara, pe fundalul cresterii cotatiilor la gaz. Contractele EUA Dec’24 s-au tranzactionat ultima data la 66,04 euro, in crestere cu 3,6% fata de inchiderea de miercuri, atunci cand preturile au reactionat intr-un mod negativ la realegerea lui Donald Trump.
Carbon prices rebounded in line with related gas
The European carbon market rebounded on Thursday from the previous sessions’ two-week low, in line with related gas. The EUA Dec’24 contract last traded at €66,04, up 3,6% from Wednesday’s settlement when prices reacted to the negative sentiment triggered by Donald Trump’s reelection.
Last week, speculative traders reduced their bets on falling carbon prices
According to yesterday’s latest Commitment of Traders (CoT) data, investment funds cut their short position last week by almost 13%, from 56,5 million allowances to 49,7 million allowances. Meanwhile, speculators have reduced their long positions as well, from 41,4 million allowances to 39,3 million.

Potrivit datelor din ultimul raport Commitment of Traders (CoT), saptamana trecuta fondurile de investitii si-au redus pozitiile pe termen scurt cu aproape 13%, de la 56,5 milioane de certificate la 49,7 milioane de certificate. In acelasi timp, speculatorii si-au redus pozitiile pe termen lung de la 41,4 milioane de certificate la 39,3 milioane de certificate.
