Pretul carbonului din Europa in scadere, in timp ce echivalentul britanic urca cu 8%
Preturl carbonului din Europa si-a continuat scaderea luni, continuand tendinta descendenta inceputa in sedinta anterioara. Contractele EUA cu scadenta in decembrie 2025 au inchis sesiunea la 70,42 euro. Aceasta inchidere este cu aproape 4,5 euro sub maximul atins vineri, respectiv 75,02 euro, cel mai ridicat nivel din ultimele trei luni.

European carbon prices extended their decline on Monday, continuing the downward trend from the previous session. EUA Dec ’25 contracts ended the day at €70,42 nearly €4,5 below the three-month high recorded on Friday.
Investitorii speculativi continua sa isi mareasca pozitiile nete pe termen lung in EUAs
Raportul saptamanal Commitment of Traders (CoT), publicat de platforma ICE in aceasta saptamana, a aratat ca, pana vinerea trecuta, fondurile de investitii si-au majorat pozitiile nete pe termen lung (pozitii pe termen lung minus pozitii pe termen scurt) la 9 milioane de certificate, cu aproape 20% mai mult fata de saptamana precedenta.
Speculative investors continue to build up net long positions in EUAs
The weekly Commitment of Traders (CoT) report, published by the ICE platform this week, revealed that as of last Friday, investment funds had increased their net long positions (long positions minus short positions) to 9 million allowances—nearly 20% higher than the previous week.
European carbon prices hold firm at seven-week high
The European carbon market closed lower in yesterday’s session, despite hitting a seven-week high earlier in the day. EUAs climbed to €73.82 in the morning, a level not seen since March, before reversing gains and ending the day at €72.90, down €0.51.
