The most recent Commitment of Traders (CoT) report published by the ICE platform revealed that investment funds have expanded their net long positions (long term-short term) to  11,8 million allowances from nearly 9 million allowances in the previous week. Piata europeana de carbon a inregistrat joi a treia sesiune consecutiva pe minus, pretul de inchidere de 67,63 euro fiind cel mai mic din ultimele doua saptamani. De asemenea, merita precizat faptul ca EUA-urile au inghetat intr-un interval mic de doar 1,38 euro (€67.53-€68,91), cel mai probabil pe fondul zilei nelucratoare din SUA.

The European carbon market experienced on Thursday its third consecutive day of decline, closing at €67,63, its lowest in two weeks. It is also worth mentioning that EUAs were locked in a tight trading range of just €1,38 (€67.53-€68,91) most likely due to public holidays in the US.
