Inaintea publicarii de catre Comisia Europeana a datelor preliminare privind emisiile pentru 2024, analistii estimeaza un declin modest comparativ cu anul precedent. In 2023, emisiile au inregistrat o scadere masiva de 15,5%, in mare parte datorata reduceriilor inregistate in sectorul energetic.

Ahead of the European Commission’s publication of preliminary emissions data for 2024, analysts predict a modest decline compared to the previous year. In 2023, emissions declined by a massive 15,5% driven mainly by the reductions recorded in the power generation sectors.

Pretul european pentru carbon a crescut cu aproape 1 euro la deschiderea sedintei de vineri, urmarind evolutii similare si pe piata de gaz. In acelasi timp, gazul TTF s-a tranzactionat pentru scurt timp la 45,495 euro/MWh, cel mai mare nivel din ultimele 3 saptamani, in crestere cu aproape 6,2% comparativ cu inchiderea precedenta.

On Wednesday, carbon prices jumped to their highest in almost a month, tracking massive gains in gas prices. EUA Dec’25 traded as high as €74,23 before closing at €73,44, posting a daily increase of 3%, the biggest since late January.
