The European carbon market surged by almost €4 in the first hour of trading on Thursday after President Trump announced a 90 day pause on “higher reciprocal tariffs”. The announcement offers a moment of relief for the carbon market and puts an end to the sixth consecutive day of losses.

Vinerea trecuta, Comisia Europeana a publicat datele preliminare privind emisiile verificate pentru anul 2024, asa cum au fost raportate de statele membre pana la termenul limita de 31 martie. Comparativ cu anul precedent, raportul indica o scadere de 5% a emisiilor provenite de la instalatiile stationare si operatorii de aeronave.
