The European Commission has published on Tuesday its annual Carbon Market Report, an analysis on the functioning of the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS). The document covers the entire 2023 and the first half of 2024.
Comisia Europeana a publicat marti raportul sau anual privind piata de carbon, o analiza privind modul de functionare al sistemului comunitar de comercializare a certificatelor de emisii (EU ETS). Documentul acopera intreg anul 2023 si prima jumatate din 2024.
Pretul de referinta pentru carbon in Europa s-a tranzactionat pentru scurt timp peste pragul de 70 de euro in sesiunea de ieri, cel mai mare nivel atins de la inceputul lunii septembrie. EUA-urile s-au tranzactionat ultima data la 69,51 euro, cu mai mult de 2% peste inchiderea de vineri.
The European benchmark carbon contract traded briefly above €70 in yesterday’s session, the highest since early September. The EUAs last traded at €69.51, more than 2% above last Friday’s settlement.
